We were honored to have special guest presenter Justin Roff-Marsh on hand to present
his workshop Reengineering the Sales Process. Justin’s pre-conference session as
well as his keynote presentation were very well received by attendees. Additionally,
we were pleased to have Ray Immelman join us to present his workshop, Great Boss,
Dead Boss.
Naturally, the large draw to our event each year is to hear case study presentations
directly from our clients, and this year was no different. We want to extend our
gratitude to our clients for their time and effort on their presentations; they
again were a great source of learning for the attendees. All Award winners listed
below presented their results to the group.
Congratulations to the CMUC Award Winning Companies:
LeTourneau Technologies Inc., Offshore Products Group
- Implementation of the Year
Erickson AirCrane - Continuous Improvement
Bowden Manufacturing - Honorable Mention for Continuous
Improvement

We strive each year to provide new content to keep return attendees stimulated,
and this year a big hit was the Beyond MRP presentation, which an attendee noted
"clarified reason for chaos in manufacturing and the root cause of conflict". For
those new to our Conference and the concepts of Theory of Constraints, we will always
offer the Introductory Sessions, and as one attendee stated, those sessions are
"a true eye opener on what truly affects the bottom line profit".
Finally, the original goal of the CMUC was to bring companies together to learn
from one another. In an effort to provide an experience where companies can meet
and network with one another, we hosted two cocktail parties and an off-site dinner,
all of which were a hit with attendees. Attendees noted to our staff that these
events really provided an easy way to speak to other companies in a comfortable,
friendly, open environment.
We hope to see you at our Conference in April 2008 in Portland, Oregon! Plant tours
are being offered again at CMUC 2008!
